Where Twilight Tones Blend As the sun surrounded I was embraced alone Listening to the sound Of each sea-shell cone Behind on rocky cliffs Birds resting on ledges Seaweed begins to pile Skirting water’s edges As each wave rolls in Shaping sand grooves A crab scurries on by Sidelong in its moves From the rock to sand Slowly strolling along Basking in sand dunes A lizard darts its tongue Shimmers over the sea The twilight tones blend Neath red and pink sky A day reaches the end Walking the boardwalk Whispered waves roar As sun descends ocean I farewell the seashore Hope ©2003 |

Shimmers over the sea The twilight tones blend Neath red and pink sky A day reaches the end It is indeed, the nicest time of day, and through the beauty of your words you have made it come alive. This is lovely Hope~ |

Loved the title...and enjoyed the entire poem. Thanks for allowing me that time to walk with you. |
