A spinning wheel of time A cry of let the battle begin Throwing families in a tailspin Fear of today, volunteers of yesterday Spinning, spinning is the wheel of time. A spinning wheel of time Colors of red, white and blue Mother’s crying saying adieu Life of today, death of yesterday Spinning, spinning is the wheel of time. A spinning wheel of time War at every turn When will we ever learn not to crash and burn Reconstruction today, destruction yesterday Spinning, spinning is the wheel of time.
