Wanting to go
you set me free
knowing I'd return one day.

Across the sky I flew
gliding, and landing
feeling so alive.

You gave me my freedom
and watched me grow
from a downy little hatchling
to a big bird.

Look at me now as I soar
through and around the clouds.
