The green-eyed monster reared its ugly head. I wish I could take back the angry words I've said. Tears on my pillow as I lie in bed. Thinking to myself, in my head. When I saw you with that girl we both knew, The green-eyed monster inside of me grew. I didn't know what else to do. So out of my mouth the words just flew. My suspicions were wrong, I now can see That I mean more to you than she. Will you please accept my apology? Do you think you could ever forgive me? As I think back on our romance, Will you please give us just one more chance? |
