Forever you stand Open armed Open hearted I am shamed Your forgiveness Stirs the fight Boiling and tossing My venom like spit I try to break you Crush your love Like small bird bones Ground by my heel Then I cry bitterly Ashamed of who I am Furious at who you are I deserve nothing Sometimes in your embrace I see the point I feel the peace then, So briefly before the storm One day will come When your heart closes Like a flytrap Swallowing my poison Never to let go the hurt The killer words so hot That spewed relentless From me your devil lover Then i will die in sorrow For however much i kill you Its because i fear loss Because i love you too much |
