a simple glance from you sets me reeling magically spinning round and round like a children’s plaything but i can’t look you in the eye because then i realize that i cant have you and all of my lies to myself are negated by looking in your eyes so i bow my head or look away and keep my fallacies tucked inside a special place— a precious chamber deep within my heart— but what happens when i look you in the eye? |
