From Diamonds To Rubies From the moment you laid eyes on me, You said I was you’re diamond. I was the only one you could’ve ever loved, Or have ever felt a passion for. From the moment your hand traced my jaw, You said I was you’re diamond. I was the only one you could’ve ever wanted, Or the only one you could’ve trusted. From the moment I first realized they were lies, There was no more diamond. For whom you sauntered with was the demon of death, Turned me into a blood stained diamond. From the moment I started to wonder, There was no more diamond. All that your actions left behind was a worn out me, The used, blood stained diamond—a ruby. ~*Julianna*~ |
