far away from home.

i placed my being inside of him.
  let him finger my pride, my nativity-
he became my guide underneath
               the false disguise
of love.

“run away and save yourself.
     run away to a place that is home,
     let it become your own…”

sinking gut as the c l o s u r e

deep inside,
     a wound you could never hide.

and i’m just trying to
                   find myself…
find myself within him
                   one last time…
