Absence of necessity brings hate and fear. I fight the urge to despise you, Yet slowly feel my demons caving in. I have made you, out of memory and vapor; Spent hours tending to the thought of you, Pruning my mind, preparing for rendezvous. But in this hollow, empty room, I understand that I created only to destroy. Something that was real once, I have inflated into an immortal. And when I needed a God to cradle me, You proved to be but the human you are. There is no logic in blaming you, Only easiness. Because I stand now in an empty room, Satisfied and made ever more hungry, by the memory of how you made it crowded. |
