My mind swims with thoughts of us together again.
Walking, talking, remembering that day,
The day you left this earth.

I never got to say goodbye to you.
I wish I had
The days seem lonely and empty without you

You said not to miss you,
It's to late I already do.
Please come back to me.

I don't want to hurt anymore
I want you back beside me
Back as my friend

I will miss you.
I will always love you
You are my friend,
I will love you forever.

I really felt this piece, in that I had a best friend die a few years ago and so I know these feelings well. I escpecailly like the first stanza, nicely done.
