Shadows cascade down,
against a briefly light sky.
The night's roar echoes.

Each of us is the sum of our scars...

i don't read many haikus but i can see a paiture when i read this...good write...keep writing

SIDE NOTE: Haiku spelled backwards is Ukiah and i used to live there...ya i made a connection i get a cookie...#$%^&*

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die
