IamBic-torious ~*Marge Tindal*~ Oh heaven help us on our choice of rhyme For Marge thinks she’s a poet in pentametered time~ She doesn’t even know the count or where iambic feet lie in measure But give her an inking well she’ll pen another treasure~ Just don’t ask her to structure her versing meter For sure as the sun comes up it will surely defeat her~ It isn’t what she does with her smelly poetic feet Goodness knows … given a chance bad meter she’ll repeat~ *With TOTAL beg of forgiveness to the poets here but it was instigated by … a muted one sooooo dear* For certifiable evidence of my poetic insanity – Peruse this Oldie ... Love it. If I have rhyme or keep my meter I'm in trouble with a capital T. Now my meter is counting, right? Ok 1 2 3 5 7 6 8 ? Hey I have take off my socks to count my toes. Now lets see. One little piggy went to market, one little piggy stayed home, one little piggy had......CHOCOLATE CAKE and one little piggy had none and the other licked his one toe all the way home.
