The stars from an endless night Like a sea of diamonds from afar Their glitter holding eternal light . . . A flowered meadow, in silver gleam Faerie land, of eternal spring Cloaked within a veil of moon's beam . . . The soothing song of a forest's brook With the gentle birds for company Like a dream from child's storybook . . . The sun rising in morning's sky As the radiant smile of a maiden fair Tis the glad end of a journey took To where favored dreams shall seek to look. |
