Torn apart piece by piece your heart does ache forever more Aching for a lost love upon a far off shore Lost forever, your love will always be In the arms of another for all eternity Heart pounding hard, you cannot sleep For a long lost love, you'll always weep A love like that will never again be found And for the rest of your life you're lost love bound Keep all the windows of your mind open Anne Rooks |

Dear poet, That poem explains how I feel about my lost love. I beleive that your poem describes perfectly what it feels like to lose a love to someone else. |

I liked your description of a heartache or a heartbreak...torn apart piece by piece. I have experienced many of these and I wonder how many one person can endure..does it do permanant physical damage to ones heart? James |
