I used to swear you were an angel, Showing me Heaven, Through stained-glass windows. Ever so pure. But clouds intercepted the sunlight streaming, Confusion cleared my vision, And I saw the bitter truth. I pulled away your mask, That heavenly angel face. And dust was blown from the clouded, Stained windows. Revealing hidden secrets, And unexplainable deceit. I shudder with the realization, Of being betrayed, By an angel. sKiTtLeS~ |
