In the Eye of the Beholder

You loved me with all
the finality of a funeral
But i want to be back in that parlor
that in between place
Where i was a decision in your head
a decision of your heart
Where finality has no sense
of direction either way
And I can lie silently between your thoughts
because there i can grow
But when the decision is made
I am put to rest
