Those Thoughts I Kept Alive It was our source of sharing Once it had led somewhere I keep on returning back Although getting nowhere It was where hearts reached Over the years grew to trust I go back and reminisce While dreams turn to dust I recall the times in my mind Where fond memories stay I had always been hoping You would return one day Perhaps the time shall come When you will remember me Those thoughts I kept alive For hope springs eternally Hope©2004 |
