a convolution
of disparate thoughts
fumble wildly around in my head,
in a language i find incomprehensible

finally, words pop out
on the wretched page,
relieving the stress i
have imposed too long
on myopic eyes

lucky for my nerves,
these words aren't a mirage
I am thus enabled to flaunt
my craftsmanship of creative
subtitles to the darned language
that besieges me,

having beaten a deadline that is now beneath me

passing shadows
