A Captured Heart

You captured my heart in just a day
You made me smile in every way
To others, you were just another guy
To me, you were my whole life
Together I thought we would always be
Your love I thought was true for me
Now that you are no longer here
I fight to hold back the tears
You would think after all this time
I would have you out of my mind
You had a way of touching my heart
And, I thought we would never part
