I'm walking up and down these path,
some are rough and rugged,
others are smooth and flawless.
Where will I end up next.

Well, I'm a small town poet,
with big town dreams.
When I close this door, another one opens.
Where that takes me, I really don't know.

But once I walk through
one step close I will be
to becoming a big town poet,
with small town dreams
