Leaves
Drift across the pebbled beach
In late autumn

Summer cabins
Badly
In need of repair

Their broken windows
Look out on a livid sea

Shadows wander
Through the rooms
Silent under wooden beams

From a gray pall . . .

The cry of geese
Passing by
