Fiddling
I fiddle in the morning’s sun Counting flowers one by one Stirring up the soil below With a pencil as a hoe
They comfort me a day’s delight Not only sight but what I write They turn my thoughts to colored hew To valley’s green and skies of blue
They are the waters of my drought The words that fill my mind and sprout Illusions of my filigree The wings I use to set me free
I theme and dream in flower power Much of day and nightly hour Ever seeking in my quest To do and act my very best And in the squeaking of my pen I try to speak of mice and men

Sir Sonneteer, that was exquisite and most definitely a welcomed new addition to Earth Angel's library of Sonnets by Mr. T. !
~ A piece of poetic perfection. That was beautiful beyond words. Thy pen is a veritable extension of thy beautiful and illustrious soul!
Angel hugs & kisses,
EA
