Lichen drapes
in frothy shawl
upon leaf-goddess
arms raised tall.

Charcoal gray-green
incandescence--
in fluid shadow
breathes a presence.

Spirit song
adrift in daydream
meanders softly
through the gleam.

Enigma spread
by viridian cloak—
in mystery
a forest soaked.

Within a copse
of soulful trees
I find my roots
in verdant peace.
