I see this night so clearly still September's rain was falling down With thunder crashing all around Climbing the stairs into our realm Lying beside you, i lost myself Listening to the sound, that was the rain High on lust, to just experience Leaving you I don't turn around and with no spoken word I'm running down the stairs to dance in the rain Jumping in puddles, was somehow in vain I was soaked, my feet were wet, I shiver Laughing at myself,......I fell so hard |

Rain reminds me of myself in ways. It's not often I read anything or hear anything I can relate to. This poem may be short but it's a good one. May the winds sweep through the moonless sky.... |
