Going to Eat Some Crow
Herds and herds of nasty birds Fly about my garden They eat and eat and then they turd And never ask my pardon
Black birds starlings and crows Pick about my beddings Black birds strut and crows crow and the Starlings are not darlings
I worked hard, put in special toil Special food special good Even worms to loosen the soil Did as much as I could
But herds of nasty birds in spoil Still bend my flower stems And pull the worms out of the soil And promptly swallow them
Someday I’ll take a sample mob And cook a nasty bird kebab

Eeeewww...I too dislike crows and starlings. They rob the nests of smaller birds - including the eggs and sometimes the featherless babies!!! But, heavens! Don't eat one...lol....you never know what they might be carrying! Thanks for the smiles this morning Seymour. hugs, Chris

Oh Sy! I hope you never invite me to dinner when you are serving up nasty bird kebabs! I know what you mean though as I have to chase them out of my sparrow bird houses. As my sister says they do grab even the baby birds still in the nest! Have a wonderful day! ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~

You have to soak them in salt water for a few hours, then BBQ 'em.

Good afternoon, T-Man!
You give a whole new meaning to the saying, "Eating crow"!
Perhaps a scarecrow would be a less drastic way to scare the crows! Caw Caw ~ I mean "Ha Ha".

Sy I'm sorry to hear of your problems with these nuisance birds. They sound like biker birds!! Have you tried the farmers trick...a bird-away..hang a dead bird in your yard? They say it works. believe in what your heart feels...

Funny stuff, made me laugh out loud! I'm a plant lover myself, but the cold climate here dictates that my growth must occur indoors, no such nuisance for me... hope you get your BBQ!!!
