I awake with the birds
In the early hours of dawn
I find peace amongst the quiet
It is the best part of the morn

I am enveloped in tranquility
As I gaze towards the sea
I am at one with my thoughts
In tune with the serenity

I take in all that surrounds me
And savour every sight and sound
Mother Nature displays her finest
Here, paradise can be found

I find so much inspiration
Which encourages me to write
I take photographs at sunset
In awe, as day turns into night

As the light of day starts fading
I look far out across the sea
Allowing thoughts of my dear father
To bring some comfort to me

how inspiring the ocean can be!! I've gone a few times myself on these recent late nights of mine.

I can see why you found such inspiration....beautiful....

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

Yes the ocean can be inspiring indeed, and the imagery in this poem is very good!!!!!!!
