Farewell to you, friends and family too.
I acknowledge all the ones I knew.
To never hurt or break your heart,
but still horizons grew apart.
And I know for certain there will be no call of the curtain.

In conclusion, my love did show,
and I hoped that it was all,
Quid pro quo, but no.

So long, but don't cry,
we'll meet again, goodbye.
For there was no peace without love,
from your morning dove,

It is nice to see that your love finally did show, but it sounds like you lost that love all too soon. It is a happy yet sad poem all at once, which is hard to achieve. I think you did a swell job at this. Good write.

I liked your sad poem..."For there was no peace without love"... That line did it for me!
