my prayers,
paper planes
of bible pages
hurled
from broken stairs

this is the first poem i saw when i came to this site, and i have to say i love it~simple, yet powerful and with a great title!

for one giddy, careless moment, i was almost serene myself. it was a strange sensation, and it soon passed
