![]() 5516 Moon’s Compassion 09 July 2006 Through the binding light of the moon a heartbeat can be clearly heard Across a universe, across a planetary rock from the sun This paradise, this new haven stranded, yet connected by a thread Silver strands of woven accord each braid holding on tight Eyes upon eyes, hearts merged time standing to a stationary halt Looking up in thoughts of passion abound entangled, yet unto freedom to flow Two souls, two hearts, together bound in a readiness to partake That apple, a fruit to savour Adam and Eve once more “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16: 18-19 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

I liked the moon poem~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
