Soul Angel

I lie in the cold
face to the limp sun
snow flakes dust my cheeks
with kisses
I slide my arms up and down
my legs open and close
pushing heaps of snow
away, away, away
from me
until I stand
and gaze at the snow angel
that took my place
…
my snow angel
my guardian angel
my soul angel

As has already been said, the 'limp sun' is a beautiful image. I love how you extracted such beauty from the simple act of making a snow angel. The last bit was beautiful
