Children are meant to be our most special treasured gift Why from our responsibility do most of us then try and shift? Do they become a burden that is heavy for us to lift? About love and compassion well is that just a bit to stiff At virtue truth and honesty they never even get a sniff No wonder the generation gap widens as they begin to drift Parent child relationships dangling off a cliff And all that is left my friend is the question if ? |
