4600 From a Poet’s Heart 02 December 2005 Morning comes to a new day sunlight drifting forth to breathe Like it was a new beginning to befriend her eyes all to that of distract Stuck so fast speed was to break This not wanting too but needing to for her sake A man of reality captured in a storm Wanting to do good and not the usual norm Unable to reach out to express what really was true Because he did not desire to make a mistake over you “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” Acts 17: 28 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
