sadness is

                   of frost
   around
                 your rose

Ed...So much feeling and meaning within these few words...the image of the rose in frost caused me to remember the song, The Rose. Given time, I've found that even a sad memory becomes defused by the light of change and growth.

Memories are indeed a blessing... one of my greatest fears is that someday, my mind will betray me... and I'll lose all those moments that made life worthwhile.
