The meaning of this poem isn't from experience, just inspired by a book.

Humming bird,
wings beating fast,
a heartbeat never before heard.

Footprints in the sand,
pitter patter,
imprint in skin,
a foot,
a hand.

Ten years waiting.
Finally.
A cry,
a wail.

You're here.
