As I walked up the path to the clearing, Sunbeams danced through each yellowed tree, And there ahead sat our Lord, A toddler on each knee. Surrounding Him in this meadow, More children were sitting in awe, Their eyes were shining brightly, Reflecting the magic they saw. A dove perched gently on His hand, As a bunny sat on His lap, A little fawn nuzzled closely, While on His shoulder a squirrel took a nap. A baby racoon snuck right in, And nestled down by His side, As the tiniest little chimpmunk, Ran up His sleeve to hide. A frisky bear cub came toward them, But quickly laid down with a sigh, The air became scented by roses, As a rainbow appeared in the sky. One by one He called them up, And He blessed each little child, As He showed them with His gentle love, He could tame what once was wild. As He tenderly hugged every one of them, There was a smile on each precious face, And as they played with His little creatures, Their world became filled with His grace. Bonnie you truly are remarkable in your writing! You leave such awesome visions in my mind. I can just see this picture! If I could only find one for each poem of yours! LOL This should be given to each child and framed! Matter of fact if you don't mind, I have someone in mind and would love to print this out and give it. <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. |

 You have described the world as it was created by God originally without sin where all creatures lived together in perfect harmony. A place of child like innocense. I am also looking forward to that day when Jesus once more walks upon Earth and our lives will return to their original innocent nature.
