Lord Make My Emotions as Velvet,
Yet make My Resolve just like steel.
And when satan would solidify that emotion,
Show Thou Me Love for which I, You Feel.
Make Me Wealthy enough to be poorest.
And strong enough to be weak.
Cause my heart to leap for pure gladness,
When Thy Word I do sweelty hear speak.
And cause mine eyes not to wander
from Thy solution to world situaion.
For war and their dark desperate rumor,
have always been in all nations.
And ol Mr. Prine comes a knockin,
As I'm certain he'll eventually do,
Give Thou unto me a wide enought hroat
to do what I know I must do.
And if the front I should ever put up,
so I will appear to be strong,
Remind Me O Jesus in Heaven,
'Tis to Thee and Thee Alone I belong.
And when others their dear help do offer, give me strengh from on high to accept.
And make me most grateful to Thee and to them,
and make me not one to reject.
For the hublest of the humblest of the humble
is in the long run much larger and greater
Than the proudest of the proudest of the proud.
And the simplest of the simplest of the simple,
may pay now , Yet Live In Heaven Later.
