Hugs from God

A gentle touch
A comforting feel
I couldn't place it
But it was real

A steady heart
Sighs of relief
A state of calm
Though it was brief

Warmth caressed me
Joy filled my soul
My mind and spirit
Now felt whole

Summer breeze
Warmth of sun
Hugs from God
I felt each one

This is great! Each blessing truly is a hug from our Lord. Thank you for this challenge. If I don't write one, I'll enjoy all the others meeting the challenge.

Ah, this is lovely! The joys of nature, and all the different aspects of something as simple as standing outside and enjoying the sun.
This poem is very reflective, I enjoyed it immensely. I'm going to write mine soon... this is such a nice challenge.

LOL Thank you all for your wonderful responses! Actually I was trying to think of what it felt like to be hugged by God.

It feels like calm, rest, warmth, like summer breezes and the summer sun.

It wasn't the blessings that were His hugs, well they are, but not in my thoughts here. LOL But I can certainly see where you all got it from.

Good thing though, each one of you helped me to look at this poem in a different way as well.

And every blessing is a Hug from God, you're all right!
