The path of strength is found when weak When day and road ahead seem bleak When fortune sides us not When every thought is one of gloom And normal days run out of room When bad-luck drops its lot It’s then to higher realms we reach But words, so many seem to preach Too many fill the mind Slowly all does come to be Slowly Satan sets us free And peace we seem to find |

Wonderful poem! His peace beyond all understanding! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

The battle is spiritual and sometimes it's not until our flesh becomes weak that we find our strength in higher powers..... and what a blessing when Satan must let go and we have our freedom to live again.... Satan truly is a hard task master. A good poem of hope to whomever may be in midst of a spiritual battle. Bob <>< |

Wonderful! "Slowly all does come to be Slowly Satan sets us free And peace we seem to find" I really love that, Satan has no further control and must let us go. xscoutx |

Inside, the battle always rages on. We must eb strong and have faith in the Lord to deliver us from evil. Never easy, but we can do it. Great write, Rick. ![]() All writing comes |

Yes, Rick....amazing that as our thoughts reach upward, Satan's grip diminishes.... Well done, Sir! |

it was a good poem to read this morning, Rick, I'm thinking the Satan line is a bit off the mark...perhaps "relinquishes hold" would be more accurate, lets go...for he isn't strong enough, "loses his grip" I don't think he ever sets us free, more he just must give up, for "now" |
