unable to let go
   of what is killing me
unwilling to see the light
   that could save me
unthinking in my actions
   that make you cry
unstoppable in my pursuit
   of self distruction

give me something to live for
hope
love
joy
anything

whisper in my ear

with Your rain of tears

where am I to go from here
I've fallen as far as I can

A place where we are all at without Christ "un place" till we remember "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us" I always enjoy reading your poems..they make you stop and think.

Always darkest before dawn. More than His outstreched hand, were His arms on the cross. He came for us when we couldn't reach Him. Thanks for sharing.

UN, could very well stand for UNIVERSAL NEED, for what you present here, at atime we have all been there or are going through it-
"there in none, righteous, no not one"
"for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."(both from the book of Romans).

May we see & heed-
by doing so,He'll fill our need-
And help us o'ercome our Greed!

A total heart reaching poem. (yes, reaching)
Where can we go when we're so down? No where but up sweetie.

I could really relate to this poem, sad, a strong cry for the help of God, yet hopeful and written with beauty. Very touching, keep reaching up, He's listening, and there's always hope, even when we don't always see it.
