The road up hill "How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!" NIV Isaiah 52:7 When I have sight and walk with God, I see All truth, all light; with images, I'm free For there is something deep inside of me That wants to grow, my vision is now free. Reflections of my soul are cast on me And only God's Creation I now see I speak with confidence so very bold With love in me, I cannot hide my Gold. For truth is clear; no images are blurred And clearly no words spoken now are slurred An awesome state, a fate, God's Open Way And as I listen, I leave night for day. As God's true love swells deep inside my soul New sunshine warms my every step, I'm whole Surrounded by earth's dark and fearsome maze Alone in fiery majesty, I blaze. But then .... I hear a voice say, "peace be still" Come now My Child; you've found the road uphill. The road uphill. Oh Newell, I couldn't agree with you more, I believe that there is no comforting feeling more convincing than knowing life is a road uphill and we all realize how far we've went up already, looking down without vertigo and understanding it's not that much far!
