To echo "Monarch Butterflies" posted by BSC.
The only poem I ever wrote about butterflies.  Not my favorite poem, but I think it has a hint of charm.

Of Butterflies

Butterflies flitting through the air
  with spastic motions everywhere
    cannot decide on here or there
      and of a certain plan or path
        amusingly seem unaware.

        They zigzag inadvertently
      with dance of such uncertainty
    Yet colors one will never see
  more vivid on a canvas face
applied with brush more strikingly.

Butterflies everywhere...I love it. True hint that spring has sprung in our minds. Very nice. Keep writing!

Stephen, The butterfly you painted with your words almost flew off my screen, I was almost ready to get a net, it fluttered so!Wonderful imagery and layout! Well Done!

This is a beautiful poem on a beautiful topic. You have well captured your subject by your words, and I like how you graphically illustrated your poem as well. Very Clever!

Well, I for one think you've done a great job with this. And the last couple of lines are so true. We just couldn't capture their vibrance on canvas! I think this is a job well done!
