Yes, I am afraid we often keep quiet when we should speak up. Joyce |

Sometimes, when we don't have words of our own, God suddenly supplies them. So many times I have felt I just didn't know how to explain clearly and once I started talking, it all came flooding out. What a great gift from Him, that is. Betty Lou Hebert |

well done! you preach it too brother! We have a lot to do and little time to do it. It brought to mind the account of Isaiah hiding in a cave after Jezebel said she was going to kill him ( after the Mt Carmel display of God's awesome power. He was hiding out and the spirit of God asked Isaiah "What are you doing here?" We must be vold people of faith to make Him our greatest aim in life and his business as our business. See? Ya set me off to preaxhing too..LOL Praise the Lord! Aloha with warmest regards, Koko |

Joyce. and vice versa, because we are so human. Trillium. Yes, God does give us words to say... even as we stand at the feet of dignitaries. Koko. I do also love this account of Elijah. (New English Translation- ![]() |

Oh how I can relate to this one! My dear neighbor passed away last year and it'd been so heavy on my heart to learn her beliefs to lead her to the Lord if need be. She always said, "I make it a practice not to talk of religion or politics" so I used to bring her pages of poetry from this sight as she said she just loved poetry. It was the only thing I could think of to do, but imagine how many of you took part in ministering to her. Thank you. (Sorry, for this long winded reply) Rae |

sandgrain. Please, no apology.... this is a wonderful testimony of how God uses poetry (the poetry we write here) to open the doors to a person's soul. I praise the Lord for that! Bob <>< |

Yo Bob! Nice work here, the huge text was very in-my-face. ![]() I like your rhyme scheme, and how well you pull it off, with so many feminine rhymes. It's one of the finer points of your writing, in my opinion. "Jesus" and "Freed us" just sounded great together. ![]() Hope to see more of yours. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day.
